To identify the performance and mechanism of variant molten salts during biomass pyrolysis in salt, thermogravimetric differential scanning calorimetry (TG-DSC) analyzer, fixed-bed reactor thermodynamic equilibrium simulation were applied to study thermal melting characteristics stability salt as well selectivity for products. The KCl-ZnCl2 is appropriate preparation H2-rich gas carbon material with abundant mesoporous structure due its activation effect. At 850 °C, obtained from contained 42.22 vol% H2 H2/CO ratio reaching 1.69. carbonates demonstrated excellent improvement composition products, 75.43 70.52 syngas (H2 + CO) collected Li2CO3-K2CO3 Li2CO3-Na2CO3-K2CO3 systems at °C respectively. With presence carbonates, bio-oil char prepared by also achieved better quality. revealed shifting (formation Li2O) pyrolysis. interaction between Li2CO3 under high temperature explained yield CO resulted consumption limited sustainable use system.
